On this page you can view a gallery of some of my paintings of God’s creation – nature and wildlife. I have painted a mixture of animals, landscapes, and seascapes. If you have any questions or comments, I’d love to hear from you! There is a reply form at the bottom of this page.
If you’d like to purchase any of my original paintings, there are still some left. Check them out in the shop section of this website.
I paint these creation paintings because I enjoy being out in nature. I also paint them because I like to bless people with paintings that connect the receiver with the creator of all things – God.
My faith in God is a big part of my life, and my hope is to share Jesus with people in a gentle and loving way. I paint the animals and birds that I love, and I paint landscapes and seascapes that bring me joy – mostly based on places I’ve visited.
I sometimes use my own reference photos when painting animals. I’m also a photographer, so that comes in handy.
Occasionally I have the opportunity to sit and paint at a local coffee shop where I paint and give away my paintings for free. I do this to bless people and often pray about who I should give these paintings for. It’s a good opportunity to be available for people and has been well received. I hope to do more of the ‘art ministry’ sessions in the future – connecting with people where they are.
The artists who inspire me the most are Chris Duffett, Kat Gibson, Kate Green, Bhari Long, and James Long. My favourite artist of all time, though, is Vincent Van Gough – for his landscapes, artistic voice and mental health art.
